So the summer is around the corner and i am trying to get the voy back in pristine condition. My wheels currently have 3-4 coats of black plasti dipp on them (about a year old), it is starting to peel in small areas 1/4 inch at most. What is my best option? Do i need to peel off all the old dip...

after doing some investigation i think i spotted the problem. the heat shield by the front right wheel well is hanging off a bit . What is the best/quickest remedy to solve my issue? thanks guys. I remember why i love this site.

whats up guys, Recently ive been hearing a rattling from the front right (maybe mid) of my truck. Ive been trying to pin point the location but because it randomly comes and goes i can never seem to catch its location. I did some research for problematic areas that would cause these symptoms...

hahha very true, but when i drill out the thread its going to be hard to get the bond to stay put and not crack out into the headliner.

do you have any pics of the finish product? i am afraid to pound the roof, seems super flimsy. I also don't want to go through the process of removing the headliner. cant figure out best/easiest/ and sufficient solution.

Thats what i was thinking but, What is the condition under the threads? is it a long empty channel? or is it basically the roof liner?

Whats up guys, Been a while since i posted on here, but here's the current issue. I removed my roof rack years ago and inserted dummy bolts (loctite also) into the existing thread to avoid leaking. Now, being years later the dummy bolts began to rust, so i figured i would replace them with new...

Not a fan, at all to be honest. Interior looks like a cheap aftermarket garage got a hold of it, Exterior molding is awful, and definitely a no go on the grill. But hey its 1/1, which makes it worse in my book. :twocents:

Nope, no trailblazers lights for voys, you can swap for ascenders and i believe there is one set of aftermarket tails, and there hideous.

Not from the frame, from the bumper. but now thinking about it, might interfere with the corner light.

same problem with my truck, i was told jb weld works miracles, maybe if nothing else works you could grind the clips off flush as possible and jb weld them 1 inch or so higher up
