    P0410 Diagnosis

Well, I'm guess I found the issue. Got under the truck and pulled the connector out of the relay only to have a tablespoon of water come running out. The housing of the relay was cracked. The pins didn't show an alarming amount of corrosion, but when I hooked it up to power to test the switch...

    P0410 Diagnosis

I was able to hear the pump prior to the light (obviously), but I haven't paid attention since and I'm assuming I won't hear it. I'll have to get under and check that relay by the pump. Anybody come up with any ideas on how to protect it from corrosion? I'm in an area that has yearly...

    P0410 Diagnosis

So I've read through some of the other P0410 code threads on here and have done a few of the diagnostic checks so far. I've checked the fuses and they are fine. My question comes from testing the suction at the check valve. I pulled the hose off and did a cold start and I didn't feel any...

What did you do to your GMT today?

Over the weekend I was able to get to changing my oil and cleaning my throttle body, and what difference it made. It's like it's brand new. This was the first oil change that I performed since i bought it, and yikes, that oil filter location... Next up on the list is figuring out why my...

    Wheel hubs

I would be doing it myself and I'm not beating my TB up offroad. I drive on road 98% of the time in the south where the roads are pretty smooth. All I'm asking for is a hub that won't fail in a year under normal conditions and I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for them. I've never seen so...

    Wheel hubs

Recommendations on where to buy the hub assembly? Want to save some money but want parts that will last. What should you look out for? I've seen lots of threads say that the same brand could have big quality differences based on where they were made.

Just when I thought I was in the clear

I haven't had the chance to dig into what may be my starting issue, but since the 8th I haven't had any issues with it. For a little while I thought the change in weather could be contributing since it would go from warm to cool and wet, but it did the same thing a few times since the last...

    p0420 code

It's a Chrysler dealer and I don't know what diagnostic tools they use. I'm going to have them look at it again, and I'll mention the PCM reset to make sure everything gets calibrated. Thankfully, they've been doing all of these repairs on the house, this would have been horrible otherwise.

    p0420 code

I have a question about this same code. The dealership I bought my TB from replaced the cat and the O2 sensors within the last month (no charge to me). Now it just threw the code again. Is there anything common to the 4.2 that could be causing this problem? I'll be taking it back to the dealer...

    Super 44 and Res delete

I have not had the greatest experiences with modifications to exhaust in the past and cutting out a component from the middle of the system gives me more pause than just replacing the muffler. Keep in mind, I'd be doing this on my own and I am no welder, so it'd be band clamps all the way.

    Super 44 and Res delete

Well crap...up until this point I had removed all temptation to do anything to the exhaust because I didn't like anything I had heard. Then you go and do this.... What difference would leaving the resonator in place make? My assumption would be less drone, but would it negate the low rumble?

    Cleaning up wheels

That makes sense, not sure why I didn't think of it before.

    Cleaning up wheels

Here are the pictures of my wheels. Like I said, it looks like junk left over from wheel weights. It's not flaky and it's isolated to a spot like this on both front wheels. The wheels in general need a good cleaning, but besides this there is nothing that looks like damage.
