New driving issue reared it's head

No, there's no set pattern... just all of a sudden it'll shudder and shut off. Always starts right back up.

New driving issue reared it's head

Would a defective relay throw a code?

New driving issue reared it's head

No check eng lights and according to GM tech, no codes. I'm baffled.

2005 trailblazer inline 6. Sometimes while driving it, it will shake and shut off but then fires right back up. Changed the coil packs but that didn't cure the problem. Been to 2 techs and still now answer. Any ideas? I'm going to go ahead and replace the fuel filter and air filter again...

    A/C Got me stumped

Checked relay today. Changed it and still no #5 position. Also checked fuses and double checked resistor wires. Starting to frost my butt.

I have to admire my trailblazer

When I bought it, I didn't think the inline 6 would be up to the tasks at hand. Boy, was I wrong. This puppy has hauled multiple trailers, my boat, and backhoe. (small but still hefty).

    A/C Got me stumped

Didn't know that. Thanks. will check that when (and if) this rain finally stops. I just figured the blower fan was powered by just one fuse, and since the other 4 speeds worked I figured it can't be a fuse. (shows what I know LOL) Oh yeah, it's the manual system.

    A/C Got me stumped

So, while driving back from Ar. I lost #5 fan speed on the a/c. No biggie, everywhere I looked, folks showed the a/c resistor as going bad when ever # 5 gives up and all other speeds work. Got a new resistor, installed it, and boom... still no #5 fan speed. Did I miss something?

Hello and thank you. Baffled by my Trailblazer

Well, update time. I removed the ABS fuse and I have had no issues while towing my trailer this last trip. I'm guessing somewhere in the brake system, a sensor was not liking the jostling the trailer was making. I can live with the light on the dash.

Looks like the CKP will be the thing to check. Thank you. 👍

Hello and thank you. Baffled by my Trailblazer

Is it possible there is some sensor somehow connected to the tow package that acts up when the weight suddenly jumps or bounces around? I haven't found any such sensor... but that doesn't mean there ain't one. Us old coots just don't know where to look.
