Yeah I've seen that but it didn't go into replacing the axle bearings, I just want to make sure leaving the adjuster in if it's not loose wouldn't cause an issue with its threads in the case when pushing and pulling a bearing from it

No there should be no problem, 06+ have different wiring but it should be the same as this swap since you too have to bring your tensioner and bladder over to the 02 seats so it will be the same connectors.

I would check the cpas (cam posistion actuator solenoid) if it's never has been checked before they get dirty and can cause rpm surges like that...
