    yep the encoder motor got replaced. As for the TCCM it was from rockauto for a 2002. I assumed it should be a good one, even tho it sounds like the 2002 year had problems. ( I would hope someone realizes that no one wants to replace a bad part with another bad part).

    So i have this problem as well. found blown fuse # 34 replaced and stepped on the brakes and blew again. did some quick looking around for frayed wires but... well... any suggestions to what my next step is? oem bulbs been that way for a while now not sure if related but cruse control went out...

    Been reading several post and this one sounds like se1911 problem is similar to what i have going on now. going to dive into this a little more this weekend. really crossing my fingers its a bad selector switch inside, but sounds like it going to be a bit more pricey TCCM or encoder motor.
