does the compressor cycle if rpms are at 1800? if it does it's still a little low on R134a. I doesn't take much to keep the temp from cooling down.

I replaced the hi side port with the dorman part with conventional Schrader valve. Would have changed low side, it wouldn't come out at least I know it's tight. If it leaks out again it gets an accumulator & new orifice.

Is there a reason GM uses the ball valve port? I want to replace leaking port with one using conventional Schrader valve
