I have a broken actuator shaft in my rear air. I wonder if it's possible to change that door out without taking the box out of the car? 2003 Envoy XL. I haven't tried to fix it, because it didn't seem worth it. But if I could I would.

Both sides blow air now, warm or cold on passenger side, and only cold on drivers side. I just need to fix that at this time. Is that the driver's temp actuator? No clicking this time.

Funny you should say that. I went to a pick a part place 2 days ago, found some in great condition and I couldn't get them unsnapped. Total failure. So I was going to see about getting new. I couldn't recognize it on the Help rack. Maybe I'll call the dealer.

I agree, not my problem. So what do I do about my problem? The TCC solenoid after dropping the pan? About $20?

The last one on that list is completely different from the others. The others appear interchangeable, but the last one is not. The funny thing is oreilly lists both of those. Which is which, or are there two different ones?

Is there just one? I see there is a solenoid only, and there is also a Torque Converter Clutch Valve. What is involved in changing that?
