Did check the fluid though..levels were fine and fluid was good..no burnt smell and still pink

@JayArr lol..easy business..i can do this from memory..only problem is ive been so busy i havent even touched her yet..pulled it back to house with the work van but its just been sitting there..gotta go start her up to make sure the batt doesnt drain..im still working on the mini whenever i get...

No not yet..weathers been bad and ive only seen the owner a few times and she was busy..the code was still there when i saw her last week i cleared it and waiting to see if it comes back..probably just gonna change the crank sensor and take it to a shop to do the case relearn..hopefully they...

Ive got the whole front taken apart..took out altenator,supercharger,waterpump and cylnder head..white smoke from the exhaust and overheating..when i saw pistons 1 & 2 compared to 3 & 4..im pretty sure coolant was getting in there

@TollKeeper i saw that one a while ago..i remember antstead doing the 100k mile service.. i tried looking for it on the web but the only one that shows up is on vimeo and in french..i even looked into getting the motor trend app..but i dont feel like paying that to watch one episode

I was using the 4 wheel drive a little last week with that snow we got..i was actually gonna post here about how glad i was that i did that front diff job earlier this year...wonk wonk..and only used it to get in and out of parking spots then switched back to 2wd..did use it to tow that mini...

Im gonna remove the valve body..and inspect and change those parts first..the A & B solenoids the servo thing on the side etc..see if that does it..i would change them anyway if i have to take it out..so gonna see how that goes first..and if course check the filter

I think my daily driver 04 envoy got jealous seeing me rebuild the trailblazer transmission..it just crapped out on me..no gears work just revs away..i noticed it slipping about a week ago..driving steady and then rpms just jumps with no acceleration..hoping its something i can fix without...

@djthumper ..i know..but just thinking ahead..if i replace the crank sensor then from what i undertsand i would then need a case relearn..next time i see the vehicle ill clear the code

Off topic...anybody know any good mini cooper forums..i bought this on monday for 700 bux 2005 cooper s 132k miles..i started breaking it down today..message me if anyone does know of one..i dont want to muddy up the thread with mini talk

Ok..let me know if it clears..i think i might just get a new crank sensor and see if i can find a cheap tech 2 on craigslist or somewhere to do the relearn
