Hey guys. I'm going to be installing one of the several tablets we have in our house into my dash. As soon as I saw @kickass audio picture of his 10 inch windows tab this mod was already a go. So thanks for that man! Lol. Anyway I won't be making any sort of fiberglass enclosure and will find a decent way to mount it in front of the radio slot (now I gotta sell my new pioneer double din I just put in last christmas). I have an easy diagram I found on the interwebs to follow as far as how to hook everything up so I'm not puzzled in that aspect. So now I'll throw a question out there. I have a 07 ls BUT it was custom ordered with the bose unit and sunroof Yada Yada yada. I'm going to cut the bose amp out and replace with a 4 chanel Fosgate amp (r300x4) to be exact. I'm wondering if I can just use the factory wiring from the speakers to the bose amp and put the Fosgate directly in its place. I suck as explaining shit so here's what I'm talking about.

Stock speakers ------------(factory wiring)------------->bose amp(cut the speaker OUTPUTS off and wire them directly to the Fosgate amp.
Below is the wiring diagram for the tablet to amp.

Edit
After looking at the diagram above closer it seems I won't be able to do it that way. He has his stock speaker outs going directly to an aftermarket amplifier rather a headunit. So now I have to figure out how to pull the bose amp , retain the factory wiring and put in the aftermarket amp.

Mine isn't a tablet, it's a computer that is under my passenger seat in the front and the touch screen is mounted to the dash.

From what it looks like, I pulled up the repair manual for the truck and your wiring diagram at the stock BOSE amp should be like this:

You can tap into those wires and use them at the door for the OEM speakers or aftermarket ones if you desire. Also don't forget to splice in the midrange speakers in your dash. I myself would ditch them and get decent midrange 6.5" speakers for the front doors and run them at an all pass crossover setup. You can always get component speakers and put the tweeters in the dash where the OEM midrange speakers are like I did.
