The posted illustration is a 03 Envoy XL. Looked at your post and did not see what year you were working with.

From my experience with the clutch it is very easy to cross thread when installing because of the super fine threads. I don't know if it would be possible to completely seat the clutch if it was cross threaded. Just a thought.

I tried both remotes for the starter and also tried reprogramming, same results. I just reset driver 2 to my preferences as I'm the only driver 99%.

I no longer use the OEM remote(s) the remote start keyfob always defaults to driver 2. It must see the interface at the BCM as driver 2.

After reviewing I did not use the door trigger, it will operate thru the data interface.
