I will start it on a random day, and no matter what I do, I can’t get the cruise to work, or even light up on the dash. It behaves like it doesn’t have cruise. No status lights, nothing. Then other times it works fine.

To EVERYBODY doing this job!!! Including and especially the OP if you haven’t purchased hubs yet: DO NOT use seller ACA AUTO on eBay. I bought “Machter” hubs from them (they were unbranded in ad), they lasted 9 months before beginning to rumble and groan again (I only drive 4500 miles a YEAR!)...

Update: after flip-flopping whether to replace this truck or not, I’m gonna hold onto it. I DO have a valid inspection now, until August 31, 2022. It’s a dependable truck which rides great. I have complete I/M readiness, although the CEL comes back on after so many drive cycles. PCM is working...
