Driver heat - passenger cold

I have read through a few of the other threads about this particular issue, but I'm not seeing a solution for my '04 Envoy. Today, made a few stops and after one, the wife asked why the heat wasn't on, it was blowing cold on the passenger side, not on the driver side. I've read in a few threads about
a) pulling the fuses and allowing the actuators to relearn - but which fuses and how do you allow for the relearn process?
b) that disconnecting the battery can cause a problem - mine died 2 weeks ago and now the problem has started.

Can someone please get me going in the right direction?

Pulling the HVAC fuses in the underhood block would attempt a reset. But since this started with a battery problem, I'm going to say the passenger side temperature actuator failed its little internal audit and is now "stuck" in one position. There's a lot of threads around here about those actuators, and Roadie has a picture that's floating around at least a couple dozen threads pointing out actuator locations and part numbers for each one.
