Envoy Torque Converter not locking

I just had an issue of the engine running rough at idle, and then finally threw a P0017 code. Turns out the VVT Solenoid was stuck. Replacing that fixed the problem, but now the TC will not lock at steady speeds.

I'm due for a trans fluid and filter change, but is there something else I can test when I'm in there? Possibly the TCC PWM solenoid?

I always install this kit in every 4L60E I have as it fixes or prevents TCC problems (among others). Brought my one 4L60E back from the brink years ago. I buy from their ebay store but looks like you can buy direct now. A bit involved, but worth it IMO.

Keep in mind that TCC will not lock if the PCM doesn't see the engine at operating temp. It doesn't matter if it's due to a failed thermostat or a bad temp sensor - if the PCM doesn't see operating temps, TCC lockup will not occur. Also, anything that can keep cruise from working will keep TCC lockup from working - so if you're front axle isn't reporting disconnect, no TCC lockup for you either. ABS light on? No TCC lockup either.
