Intake cover

Hey guys so I have did a search n couldn't find out exactly how the plastic cover comes off on the intake. Was going to check my intake bolts but I assume the cover has to come off because I can't see any bolts right now.. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks MO I have already cleaned the throttle body.. but I was talking about the plastic cover over the intake manifold.

I happen to have a spare motor I bought off a buddy for a hundred bucks, it has a bad thrust bearing.
I counted eleven 10mm nuts on the side

Thanks MO I have already cleaned the throttle body.. but I was talking about the plastic cover over the intake manifold.

I know I need to re-torque my valve cover bolts too. I did all of the ones on the exhaust side while changing my plugs, since they are all right there. I leaned over to try to scope out where all the intake manifold bolts were, and couldn't get eyes on most of them. That looks like a royal pain in the ass to get to them all while it's still in the truck. :banghead:

It sure it a pain in the ass. Once you've done it a couple times you get a feel for where they all are. Except the one that is right next to the firewall... that one is the biggest son of a... I've cursed it more times than I could count.
