I just got done stripping the side moldings and roof rack off my 05 trailblazer.
I'm not too sure of the bubble factory tail lights when I'm looking for the smooth
look. Will the tail lights from a buick rainier or any thing else fit it.
thanks ahead of time for the feedback

No. But the Trailblazer has a nice selection of aftermarket tails.

In the "smooth" look, the Depo is probably the most popular.

I still haven't found a set of aftermarket tails I completely like...yet another reason I'm in desperate need of my own vacuum table~
can I get an AMEN, Carlton?

If there was an amen smiley, I woulda used it. Gonna start working on my vacuum table this month hopefully.

:iagree: They have come down in price since I purchased mine a couple years ago. Out of the options available I thought those fit my TB the best.

Those look good too. I did not come across those when I was looking for new tailights. Are those LED or do you have a LED bulb installed?

Those are Altezza style tails. Use that in your ebay search and you'll see those in black, and the ones in chrome. You use the stock tail light circuit boards, and have to add LED bulbs yourself. Do some reading up on load resistors, if you haven't already. :twocents:

Yes you will have to buy the LEDs. I have "spider lights" in mine!! you can find them on ebay for around $25 a pair. You will need resistors also for your turns... between 2 and 4 of them depending on which size you get. 6ohm 50w youll need 4. ive heard you can get 3ohm 25w resistors and youll only need 2 of them? So check that one out might save some coin/time.

Also im having cruise control issues... ive heard if you put a resistor on your rear brake of your tails (top bulb) that it will fix it but once again i havent REALLY looked into it.

Good luck post some picks when you choose!!

Heres a day shot..

I actually didnt use the stock boards... The lights come with three separate sockets. just slapped the brake lights and reverse in totally plug n play. The turns as you know did require resistors.

I am some what familiar with resistors as I had to use (2) 6ohm 50w to get my switch backs to function properly.

Thanks for the info. I could not tell from the pictures if those had built in LEDs or were bulbs. My taillights that I purchased already had resistors built in do I did not have to do anyhting else other than plug them in.

I have the same lights, they don't use the boards and make quad tails easy.
